A 'Doable' is an experiment or demonstration that's easy to implement in the classroom at home. Doables illustrate scientific principles using readily available, inexpensive materials and kits. Some Doables show you how to incorporate inexpensive activity kits in the classroom, others use commonly found objects. Others illustrate activities that can be performed outside on the school grounds or at home.
- Doables are categorized by basic science principles. For example, on the lesson page for The Physics of Supercars, you will find demonstrations and experiments that explain force, motion and energy.
- Each Doable features a list of materials, procedures, questions to ask students and expected results.
- Educators pick and choose Doables by concept. They can even mix and match activities for each lesson.
